Horse Walker Drag

Adjustable Drag

Save time in maintenance and improve the consistency of your ground with Priefert’s optional adjustable drag and sprinkler systems.
The drag attaches to the walker’s arms and can be adjusted to move dirt from inside to out or outside to in depending upon the need. The drag is just about as important as any other walker component, horses create a walking track that soon becomes a rut and if you do not regularly maintain these footing problems than you may face adverse effects particularly with horses who are in recovery from leg or tendon injuries.

It can be adjusted to work effectively from either direction.
By eliminating ruts with the drag, the conditioning track will be more consistent and improve the effects of the overall workout.

Most other brands do not offer drags simply because their machines can not handle the load of a drag and will burn out, again Priefert’s  revolutionary use of the Planetary drive system has changed that.

Just attach any outdoor water hose to the walker’s sprinkler hookup and you are ready to go.
