Another great feature of the Priefert Panel Walker is the walker fence options. Take a closer look and you will see the extra attention to detail, safety, and strength that you will only find with Priefert. Our panels are curved for the specific diameter required; this creates a perfect circle for the walker to operate within. At Priefert we do not fill in our fence panels with rubber  like other brands.

There 2 main reasons for this are:

1) We have been the preferred walker for many professional properties, pro trainers and educational and research facilities. Often we need to watch our horses gait, particularly when the walkers are being used in a therapeutic application such as recovery exercise, physiotherapy and cool down/warm up. So, behind a rubber wall, the observer cannot see the horse or its gait behind a rubber wall.

2) We live in a hot climate in Australia and our horses need airflow when working. To have a horse exercising in sand ( concrete, rubber etc.) surrounded by rubber walls can effect the exercise and its benefits through too much heat.

For the customers who would prefer the  rubber lined fences, the gauge of steel we use is more than enough to apply or screw rubber onto the fences should you wish to.
There are no sharp edges, TECH SCREWS, misplaced connectors, or places for a horse to injure itself on. The Bottom Skirt option keeps the surface in and eliminates leg traps as well. The inner and outer round fences feature convenient gates with safe sliding latches. Priefert Walkers come standard with 2 gates.

Premier Skirted Rail Fence Walker

The Premier Skirted Rail Walker is specially designed with the revolutionary Priefert Walker Surface Drag and  Skirt to ensure your horses will always have a level, safe and prepared surface to exercise on. The Skirt will ensure that your surface stay in the walker and not spill out as often seen in traditional walkers. The drag, as you will read below, will keep the surface raked and ready for work eliminating the ruts and tracks ALWAYS seen on walker tracks.

The fence on the revolutionary Premier Walker is designed for horses and knowing that the walker will be used by young stock, breakers as well as trained and competitive horses, nothing has been left to chance on safety and durability. Made from 4.2cm O.D. Quadraform 16 gauge tubing at 6ft high and six rails.

Priefert Horse Safe Mesh Fence Walker

The Priefert Mesh fence system is  heavy Duty Panel, 16 gauge, 2″ O.D., 8′ long, 6′ tall panels with the added feature of  heavy duty 2″ X 2″ welded mesh filler and 22″ and also comes with the skirted bottom that helps keep the surface inside the walker. This, we believe, is the safest walker on the market. If you are concerned about your horse kicking or testing the fence as often seen in rubber lined walker fences, this option is for you. This option is so strong and reliable that the professional bull contractors in the USA use these walkers to exercise and train their bucking bulls on for competition…..not every walker company gets to say that!

The gauge of mesh Priefert have designed and use on their walkers and stables is tried and tested for decades as the safest, strongest and most durable on the Equine market. 5mm rolled steel in 50mm x 50mm configuration…..no one else comes close!

Our walker has paid for itself many times over. Post Entry Quarantine (Equine Division) VIC

The Post Entry quarantine facility in Mickleham Victoria is a state of the art quarantine facility for horses to board at while in entry quarantine. This facility deals with some of the most valuable horses going in and out of the country and the Priefert Mesh Fence walker was selected for their two exercise machines. This facility is run professionally and cannot afford risks. The safety aspects of the Priefert walker, simplicity of use the the distinct lack of required maintenance were sited as the stand out features.
